Numerous disadvantaged people from the social cooperative provide services for canning products.
Collaboration between different entities as an engine to put virtuous actions into circulation. For Tecno Diamant, a company based in Formigine (MO) and active in the production and distribution of diamond tools for porcelain stoneware and natural stone, as well as an exceptional partner of prestigious ceramic realities all over the world, networking with the outside world is, more than a desire, a real intrinsic necessity of its core business.
With this spirit that has always distinguished it and after having collaborated in recent years with important projects in the area – such as “Play School” and “#sportanchio,” dedicated to motor practice for primary and secondary school students in Formigine – the company has renewed its collaboration contract with the Alecrim Work cooperative to help disadvantaged people in the area. Specifically, this is a relationship between the two entities that has been going on for a number of years now, with the cooperative providing services within Tecno Diamant’s facilities regarding the canning of products.
Alecrim Work was founded almost 30 years ago with the goal of building a professional and quality company that can operate in the market with a policy that pays special attention to disadvantaged and disabled people, valuing everyone’s skills. Among the activities carried out is the contract workshop formula, which is what is offered at Tecno Diamant and consists of giving opportunities for expression to people with greater difficulties, whether motor or cognitive. Currently, the number of people employed by the social cooperative exceeds 230, nearly 70 percent of whom have a disadvantage that does not, however, prevent them from operating at their best by feeling useful to society and making their own contribution in the world of work.
At Tecno Diamant, people from Alecrim Work serve in the company on a daily basis, with professionalism and precision, building a path of dignity, personal growth and greater autonomy with their own hands.
